Limited Warranty for Ezy Ebike

Effective Date: August 15st, 2022

At Ezy Ebike, we are committed to providing high-quality products and ensuring customer satisfaction. We offer a limited warranty against Manufacturer Defects for all the bikes we sell. Please read the following warranty policy for more information:

Warranty Period:
New products purchased directly from Ezy Ebike are covered by a limited warranty for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase or delivery, whichever is later. The warranty covers defects in material and workmanship (“Manufacturer Defects”). Replacement parts used in warranty repairs will be warranted for the remaining balance of the original warranty period.

Non-Transferable:
This warranty is non-transferable and can only be exercised by the original retail buyer (“Customer”) who purchased the product. The Customer will be required to provide the original receipt of purchase when filing a claim under this warranty.

Coverage:
Ezy Ebike provides a New Bike Guarantee, which includes full replacement of any defective parts/components within the first 30 days of purchase with free shipping. After 30 days, the Customer is responsible for all return shipment costs to Ezy Ebike. This warranty applies to Products, parts, and components that are manufactured, assembled, and sold as new by Ezy Ebike. The following components are covered under this warranty against Manufacturer Defects:

  • Drive unit
  • Frame
  • Batteries
  • Mechanical components
  • Electrical components

Shipping Damage Claims:
Upon receiving the product, the Customer should immediately inspect it for any shipping damage. Any freight damage claims must be reported to Ezy Ebike within 10 days of delivery. The Customer should note any damage on the Bill of Lading before accepting the shipment and document it with photographs, if possible. It is important to keep all packaging and paperwork until the inspection process is complete. Please contact our Customer Support team for instructions on returning the damaged product.

Exclusions:
The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear of the Products. It also does not cover damage resulting from the abuse or neglect of the Products. Examples of excluded circumstances include, but are not limited to:

  • Racing or competition use, modification of original parts, abnormal strain
  • Water damage
  • Lack of proper maintenance or use of incompatible parts
  • Use of lubricants not suitable for e-bike use
  • Damage from accidents, collisions, road hazards, or operation on unsuitable surfaces
  • Commercial applications, such as cargo transportation, newspaper delivery, and rentals
  • Temporary decrease in power or distance due to operating conditions or normal battery deterioration
  • Normal deterioration, fading of surfaces, or cosmetic cracking

Any non-warranty work performed concurrently with a warranty repair/replacement will be subject to ordinary parts and labor fees.

Warranty Void:
The warranty will be void under the following circumstances:

  • Products that have been lent, leased, or rented commercially
  • Damage caused by the use of a third-party battery charger
  • Loss or damage during shipping if the Customer chooses their own shipping option or uses a freight forwarder or similar service
  • Products that have been altered without Ezy Ebike’s approval
  • Products with alterations or additions of non-original or incompatible parts
  • Damage or failure resulting from weather or excessive wear and tear
  • Theft, robbery, vandalism, incidental, consequential, or intentional damage caused by the Customer’s abuse or neglect
  • Improper use or transportation of the Products
  • Damage resulting from improper maintenance or storage
  • Products with an electrical component that has been tampered with or repaired by unauthorized individuals
  • Products that have been disassembled improperly or repaired by unauthorized individuals
  • Damage resulting from improper adjustment or maintenance

Exclusions:
This warranty is exclusive and replaces all other warranties, whether written, oral, or implied. Juiced disclaims all other warranties, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. The duration of this warranty is limited to the specified period. Some regions may have different or longer warranty terms or prohibit certain disclaimers or limitations of warranties. This warranty provides specific legal rights that may vary depending on the state, country, or region.

Customer’s Responsibility:
The Customer is responsible for properly operating, maintaining, and storing the Products as specified in the Owner’s Manual. Any apparent defects must be reported to Ezy Ebike within 10 days of discovery. When submitting a warranty claim, the Customer must provide detailed information about the defects, including photos and supporting evidence as requested. Failure to provide requested information may result in the denial of the warranty claim.

Ezy Ebike is not responsible for providing a box or packing materials for return shipping of parts. The Customer is advised to obtain insurance for the shipment of Products back to Ezy Ebike. Repair or replacement of a defective Product should only be done by Ezy Ebike or its authorized service providers to avoid voiding the warranty or causing additional damage.

Proof ofpurchase, such as the original receipt, is required to initiate a warranty claim. The warranty claim process may involve troubleshooting over the phone or email, and if necessary, Ezy Ebike may request that the defective parts be shipped back for inspection. If the warranty claim is approved, Ezy Ebike will, at its discretion, either repair or replace the defective parts or components.

How to File a Warranty Claim:
To file a warranty claim, the Customer should contact Ezy Ebike’s Customer Support team by phone or email within the warranty period. The Customer Support team will provide instructions on how to proceed with the claim and may require specific information or documentation to assess the claim. It is important to follow the instructions provided by the Customer Support team to ensure a smooth warranty claim process.

Limitation of Liability:
Ezy Ebike’s liability under this warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of defective parts or components. In no event shall Ezy Ebike be liable for any incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of or in connection with the use or performance of the Products, whether based on contract, tort, strict liability, or other legal theory.

Governing Law:
This warranty is governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where the original purchase took place. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with this warranty shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that jurisdiction.
